City Ministry

Though there are more modern conveniences in the city, the needs are still great and especially the need for the Gospel. There is much prejudice even in evangelical churches and we are thankful for the many opportunities to share that Christ came for all!

Government Centers

Due to government restrictions, we are not allowed to take any pictures at government centers.

Orphanage

The orphanage we primarily work with houses approximately 80 kids ranging from the age of 4 to 20. The kids are able to come to church at the Bruski house twice a week. Wednesday evenings include meal and Sundays include small groups to further discipleship opportunities.

Minor Center

90% of the kids from the Minor Center are picked up from the police from the street -- mostly for begging or running away from the orphanage. The Minor Center can hold up to 16 kids temporarily until the courts decide upon a permanent placement -- return home, foster care, or orphanage. God has granted us much favor and the ability to have activity time (English, songs, Bible story, craft, etc.) with the kids at least once a week and take them on monthly outings since they are not allowed to go outside very often.

Maternity Center

The Maternity Center is similar to an emergency housing for mothers and their children since not all the kids are infants. We are excited about the new Mom Mentoring Program that God has allowed to be started here. Our relationship with this center has allowed us to place some moms there temporarily until we are able to find a more permanent solution.

Transition Center

The government recently opened a transition center for older orphans that are done with school. This helps them from going to the street and allows them to get a job to start saving money. They have opened there doors for us and we are praying about how to best minister here.

Homeless

Throughout the city, the homeless are seen -- digging in the dumpsters and trying to get warm next to the water pipes. At this time we do not regularly work with a particular group, but do minister as opportunities arise - food, dental work, etc.

exists to glorify God by initiating purposeful relationships so that we can share Christ; anticipating the Holy Spirit’s drawing to impact souls for eternity and igniting a passion in individuals to live unto the Lord alone!
